On October 28, the 2026 Shenzhen Biomedical and Food Industry Industry-Education Alliance Conference was successfully held at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Cell Valley Biopharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the conference as a representative of alliance enterprises and delivered a speech, joining representatives from government, academia, and industry to explore new high-quality development pathways for industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation.

The conference was guided by the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and hosted by Shenzhen Polytechnic University, bringing together alliance member units and prospective member enterprises from the biomedical and food industries. Centered on the theme "Setting Education by Industry, Prosperity of Industry through Education, and Symbiosis of Industry and Education," the conference featured activities including the annual work report, university-enterprise cooperation agreement signings, certification of outstanding council units and industry mentors, and the addition and accreditation of new council units. Shenzhen Cell Valley, recognized for its outstanding performance in collaborative university-enterprise talent cultivation, was named an "Outstanding Council Unit" by the alliance for three consecutive years (2024–2026); Professor Shi Yuanyuan was once again honored with the title of "Outstanding Industry Mentor," fully demonstrating the enterprise's exemplary and leading role in industry-education integration.

As a vice-chairman unit of the Shenzhen Biomedical Industry-Education Alliance, Shenzhen Cell Valley has consistently been committed to advancing talent cultivation and technological innovation in the cell and gene therapy industry. Professor Shi Yuanyuan introduced the phased achievements made since Shenzhen Cell Valley and the School of Food and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shenzhen Polytechnic University established a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2023, covering areas including the co-development of internship and practical training bases, joint revision of talent cultivation plans, development of skills certificates, and collaborative research through research platforms.

In terms of joint talent cultivation, the university and enterprise jointly established the Shenzhen Polytechnic University Internship Base, receiving over one hundred students majoring in Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology for internships over three years. At the same time, Shenzhen Cell Valley has been deeply involved in formulating talent cultivation plans and course standards, jointly developing "Immunotherapy Technician" and "Cell Therapy" micro-certificates, assembling a Guangdong provincial industry mentor team, and bringing frontline enterprise experience into the classroom. In terms of research collaboration, leveraging the alliance platform, the university and enterprise jointly obtained approval for the "Guangdong Provincial Cell and Gene Therapy Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform," conducting research on frontier directions including cell therapy and gene editing, and accelerating the translation of university research achievements into industrialization.

Professor Shi Yuanyuan stated that Shenzhen Cell Valley will continue to deepen collaborative cooperation with alliance member units, further participate in the development of the entire talent cultivation chain, jointly cultivate industry talent, jointly promote technological innovation, and continuously contribute enterprise strength to the vigorous development of Shenzhen's biomedical strategic emerging industries.
