On August 15, 2026, the "Hong Kong Talent Qianhai Tour" biomedical field inspection event, hosted by the Qianhai Authority, was successfully held. Expert professors from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong visited the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley for an in-depth investigation into the development achievements of the cell and gene therapy industry, jointly exploring new pathways for Shenzhen-Hong Kong industry-academia-research collaboration. Sun Rui, Head of the Marketing Department of the Cell Valley Group, and Wu Hua, Project Manager, jointly received the delegation, accompanied by relevant representatives from the Free Trade Affairs Division of the Qianhai Authority.

During the inspection, Project Manager Wu Hua accompanied the visiting experts on a tour of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley's core functional areas, providing an overall introduction to the platform's development positioning, industrial layout, and Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation achievements. This gave the delegation a comprehensive understanding of the Cell Valley Group's full-chain development model spanning "basic research – clinical R&D – commercial implementation," its standardized CGT service system, and its achievements in industrial ecosystem development.

Following the tour, the two sides held a symposium on Shenzhen-Hong Kong biomedical innovation cooperation. Director Sun Rui introduced the Cell Valley Group's business layout and cooperation plans in Hong Kong, with a particular focus on the company's efforts to connect with Hong Kong's research resources and facilitate cross-border industry linkages. The visiting experts, drawing on their respective research fields and industry development needs, engaged in extensive exchanges on the directions and pathways for collaborative innovation in the biomedical sector between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and expressed strong recognition of the Cell Valley Group's industrial service capabilities and platform value.
As a core vehicle for the coordinated development of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong biomedical industry, the Cell Valley Group will continue to deepen regular exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong universities and research institutions, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the biomedical industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
