On August 25, a delegation from Fuzhou New Area (Changle District) visited Shenzhen Cell Valley Biopharmaceutical Group for inspection and research. The visiting delegation included Lan Wen, Standing Committee Member of the Fuzhou Municipal Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Fuzhou New Area (responsible for daily work), and Secretary of the Changle District Committee (at the principal departmental level); Li Yumin, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Changle District Political Consultative Conference; Gao Ling, Director of the Comprehensive Coordination Bureau of Fuzhou New Area and Standing Committee Member of the Changle District Committee; Chen Hangxing, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Fuzhou New Area, Standing Committee Member of the Changle District Committee, and Head of the United Front Work Department; Zheng Yue, Deputy Director of the Party and Government Office of Fuzhou New Area and Director of the Changle District Party Committee Office; Liu Chang'an, Chief Accountant of Fuzhou New Area Group; Chen Hao, Party Secretary and Director of the Changle District Commerce Bureau; Chen Geng, Party Secretary and Director of the Changle District Industry and Information Technology Bureau; and Zhang Xuan, Deputy General Manager of Fuzhou Xintou Venture Company. The Cell Valley Group was represented by Chairman and General Manager Shi Yuanyuan, Chief Financial Officer Wang Shaoqing, Administrative Director Wei Zheng, Director of the International Medical Center Fu Yuchen, Head of Marketing Sun Rui, Senior R&D Scientist Zhu Wenxiang, as well as Bai Yaping, General Manager of Fujian Strait Min-Tai Cell Valley; Yang Hongyuan, Senior Advisor; and Yang Borui, Deputy General Manager.

The delegation first toured the Shenzhen Cell Valley Group exhibition hall and the real-time display screens of the group's interconnected laboratories across multiple s, gaining a detailed understanding of the company's core capabilities in industrial-scale viral vector technologies, large-scale cell preparation, full-process quality control, and clinical translation, as well as its industrial layout across multiple regions nationwide.

During the subsequent symposium, Chairman Shi Yuanyuan extended a warm welcome to the Fuzhou New Area leadership delegation and provided a comprehensive report on the Fujian Strait Min-Tai Cell Valley project. He highlighted the Cell Valley Group's core positioning and existing foundation, the policy advantages of Fuzhou New Area, the overall project plan, project value, and relevant policy requests. He noted that Fuzhou New Area is currently at a strategic opportunity period with the overlapping policies of the Cross-Strait Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, the International Medical Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and the Min-Tai Biopharmaceutical Valley. After nearly five years of development, the Cell Valley Group has established a mature technological system and operational capabilities, and is fully capable of systematically introducing them into Fuzhou New Area. He expressed hope that, with the coordinated support of the New Area, the government and enterprise would work closely together to accelerate the transition of the project from blueprint to implementation, creating a demonstration benchmark for Min-Tai biopharmaceutical industry cooperation.

Secretary Lan Wen highly commended Shenzhen Cell Valley's technological strength and industrial layout. He pointed out that Fuzhou New Area is a national-level new area tasked with the mission of cross-strait integrated development. Currently, it is driven by the dual engines of the Min-Tai Biopharmaceutical Valley and the International Medical Comprehensive Pilot Zone to cultivate biopharmaceuticals as a strategic emerging industry. The New Area already possesses five foundational conditions—policies, industrial parks, hospitals, funds, and Taiwan-facing advantages—and urgently needs a professional operation platform like Cell Valley capable of undertaking clinicalgrade preparation, quality control, translation, and cross-border services. He further stated that the Fujian Strait Min-Tai Cell Valley project aligns with the New Area's development direction, can fill critical capability gaps, and amplify the multiplier effect of existing resources. In the future, multiple departments will be coordinated to form a synergy, providing support in terms of industrial infrastructure, policy support, and state-owned capital collaboration to facilitate the project's early implementation.
