Recently, Yuan Yang, Vice Mayor of Shenyang, along with Zhao Yongsheng, District Governor of Tiexi District, and their delegation visited Shenyang Cell Valley for inspection and guidance. Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman and General Manager of the Cell Valley Group; Zhang Baosheng, General Manager of Shenyang Cell Valley; and Fang Yixun, Assistant to the General Manager, hosted the delegation.

Shenyang Cell Valley is a joint venture established by Shenzhen Cell Valley Group and the state-owned asset platform Shenyang Zhongdekai Life Technology Co., Ltd., dedicated to building a comprehensive industrial platform integrating cell preparation, storage, quality testing, technology R&D, and clinical translation .

During the inspection, Vice Mayor Yuan Yang and her delegation first toured the Shenyang Cell Valley smart exhibition hall, gaining a detailed understanding of the Cell Valley Group's development history, national strategic layout, core technology platforms, clinical translation achievements, and the construction progress of the Shenyang Cell Valley project. Subsequently, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the newly completed cell production, cell storage, and biochemical testing laboratories, gaining insight into the functional layout, equipment configuration, quality management systems, and operational plans of the facilities.

Shi Yuanyuan welcomed the visit of Vice Mayor Yuan Yang and her delegation. He noted that Shenyang Cell Valley would leverage the Cell Valley Group's accumulated technology, talent, industrial, and medical resources in the cell and gene therapy field to actively promote medical-industry-academia-research collaborations with medical institutions, universities, and research institutes in Shenyang, accelerating the translation and implementation of innovative technologies and industrial projects in Shenyang .

Vice Mayor Yuan Yang fully affirmed the current construction achievements of Shenyang Cell Valley. She stated that Shenyang would actively support the development of Shenyang Cell Valley, providing strong support in areas such as medical resource connectivity and promoting cooperation with municipal hospitals in Shenyang. This support aims to foster deeper integration of cell and gene therapy innovative technologies with clinical resources, accelerate the translation of research outcomes and the implementation of industrial projects, and cultivate new growth drivers for the development of Shenyang's biopharmaceutical industry .

This inspection fully demonstrates the high importance that Shenyang and Tiexi District place on the construction of Shenyang Cell Valley and the development of the biopharmaceutical industry. Taking the project's completion and commissioning as a new starting point, Shenyang Cell Valley will further improve its platform functions, enhance operational capabilities, and accelerate the introduction of high-quality technology, talent, and industrial resources.
