Deepening University-Enterprise Collaboration to Cultivate Industry Talents | Shenzhen Technology University Business School Students Visit Shenzhen Cell Valley

On June 23, to strengthen talent pipelines, empower high-quality development of the cell and gene therapy (CGT) industry, and deepen the industry-academia collaborative education mechanism, the Business School of Shenzhen Technology University organized a delegation of over 20 students and faculty members to visit Shenzhen Cell Valley for an exchange program. Through site visits and a human resources-focused symposium, the participants gained an up-close perspective on the frontier developments of the CGT industry and a deeper understanding of the competency requirements for interdisciplinary talent, thereby building a bridge between university talent cultivation and corporate development needs.

The delegation toured Shenzhen Cell Valley's smart exhibition hall, observing the entire operational workflow of cell manufacturing, R&D, and production. They systematically learned about the current state of the CGT industry and gained direct insight into the complete industrial chain from technology R&D to outcome translation.

During the symposium, Shenzhen Cell Valley provided a comprehensive overview of its development history, core technology products, industrial layout, and talent development system, offering students a complete understanding of the company's overall profile. The discussion then turned to internship positions, recruitment standards, interview strategies, and how to build relevant skills during university years. Drawing on real examples from past campus recruitment, the company illustrated practical ways for students to accumulate hands-on experience and align their capabilities with industry demands.
As a university student internship base in Pingshan District, Shenzhen Cell Valley maintains a well-established student training system and abundant industry practice resources. During the exchange, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on campus recruitment, targeted talent delivery, and joint industry-academia training programs. The company presented a full picture of industry development prospects, job requirements, talent development frameworks, and employee career progression, while the university aligned its curriculum with corporate hiring standards, clarifying actionable plans for talent delivery and student industry placements.
This visit effectively narrowed the gap between academia and industry, helping Business School students clarify their career development paths and acquire practical job-seeking skills. Shenzhen Cell Valley will continue to advance industry-education integration, accelerate the implementation of campus recruitment cooperation initiatives, and facilitate the mutual flow of resources and joint cultivation of talent between the university and the company, contributing to the high-quality development of the biomedical industry.
