On June 27, 2026, the inauguration ceremony of the General Technology Biopharmaceutical Research Institute was held at Zhongguancun Life Science Park in Changping District, Beijing. The event was hosted by China Meheco Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Meheco"), a subsidiary of China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Beijing Changping Science Park Development Co., Ltd. (Chang Development), Fortune Global 500 company Danaher Group, and Shenzhen Cell Valley Biopharmaceutical Group.

During the event, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman and General Manager of Shenzhen Cell Valley Group, and Wei Zheng, Administrative Director, attended the ceremony and jointly witnessed the official signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between China Meheco and the Cell Valley Group, together with Yang Guang, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Meheco, and Zhang Peng, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager.

The signing of this strategic partnership marks the formal establishment of a long-term strategic cooperative relationship between the Cell Valley Group and China General Technology Group. The two parties will fully leverage their respective strengths in the cell and gene therapy (CGT) field, and in collaboration with Fortune Global 500 company Danaher Group, jointly build a new tripartite strategic synergy model of "state-owned enterprise + international industry leader + innovative technology company," further promoting the deep integration of China's CGT industry innovation, industrial, and value chains.

According to the cooperation plan, with the strong support of the Beijing municipal and Changping district governments, the parties will engage in deep collaboration on key technology R&D for cell and gene therapy, public service platform construction, industrial resource integration, result translation, and international cooperation. They will jointly advance the establishment of the Cell Valley Global R&D Headquarters in Changping, Beijing, creating an international innovation platform integrating technology R&D, clinical translation, industrial incubation, and international collaboration, and supporting Beijing in building a globally influential pharmaceutical and health industry innovation hub.
